ASSISTANT
Are you great with customers and well organized? Our office assistants are the hub of our business. If you have office experience and enjoy light drafting and interior design, this position may be a good fit for you. Our office staff manages everything from purchase orders, customer sales orders and invoices to bathroom remodel consulting. Join Capstone Surfaces and enjoy a variety of tasks in a fast-paced production environment that produces top-notch products for our customers.

Be a brand ambassador; convey energy, enthusiasm, and positive energy. Be the face of the company for customers and suppliers, always representing our products and organization professionally.

Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, selection details, placement of orders, requests for prices and quotations, scheduling of deliveries, and providing customer follow-up as necessary.

Work closely with operations to carefully plan capacity, lead times, and customer commitments.

Consistently and professionally communicate and collaborate with other employees, management, clients, and suppliers.

Prepare communications such as memos, emails, invoices, reports, and other correspondence. Correspond in a professional manner with attention to spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure.

Work with suppliers to order raw materials and supplies.

Create customer quotes, sales orders, invoices, and purchase orders in Quickbooks.

Maintain accounts receivables and payables in Quickbooks.

Create and maintain organized electronic filing systems for documents and correspondence relating to all aspects of the business.

Maintain showroom, product displays, and samples by stocking, facing, straightening, and cleaning or any other task necessary to maintain the appearance of products and showroom.

Identify, communicate and execute opportunities to improve the business; help implement new systems and processes.

Qualifications:

High school diploma
-
Excellent computer skills
-
Self-driven and hard worker with excellent attendance

Ability to work efficiently either alone or with a team with minimal supervision.

Flexibility to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment, working with multiple team members.

Flexibility to work extra hours if necessary

Ability to communicate effectively in English

Ability to work in the US without sponsorship

Pass drug and background screening
Experience and skills that are helpful but not required:
-
Prior experience as an office manager or inside sales
-
Prior work experience in residential or commercial construction planning and design or experience in a manufacturing/production setting

Experience or education in drafting or interior design
Compensation:
Starting compensation will be competitive and commensurate with the experience and know-how you bring.
Timing and amount of future compensation increases will be dependent on how well you deliver against the employee expectations listed above as well your growth as a team member and your consistent contribution to the company’s objectives.

(Full-time only) Paid vacation, health plan, and 401k with partial match available.
Hours:

Part-time, Flexible scheduling within showroom/office hours

Full-time, 8:00AM - 5:00PM Monday - Friday

Extended hours or weekends are uncommon but may be required as demand warrants
